BCS National Championship Game: Alabama vs LSU Football 2012 - Undefeated No. 1 LSU will face No. 2 Alabama tonight for the BCS National Champioship. It's the rematch everybody has been talking about.

The much awaited rematch of two tough teams from the Southeastern Conference, the LSU Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide will happen Monday night, January 9, 2011, at 8:30 PM ET. The game will be played in New Orleans, La., at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Way back Nov. 5, LSU defeated Alabama, 9-6, in overtime in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Alabama captured the 2009 BCS title while LSU is seeking its first since the 2007 season. Both are good defensive teams in college football. Tigers Coach Les Miles could become the third coach to win two Bowl Championship Series crowns; Crimson Tide Coach Nick Saban, with a win, would be the first coach to win three BCS titles.
