NBA All Star 2012 Weekend: Team Shaq vs Team Chuck Live - The NBA All-Star Weekend officially started this Friday night, February 24, 2012 with two full packed and shining stars for both celebrities young NBA stars. The the Celebrity Game and the Rising Stars Challenge will feature the league's best rookies and second-year players.
The Rising Stars Challenge features the best Rookies and the best Sophomores going at each other and will be played just like college basketball. The players were drafted by Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley which forms Team Shaq vs Team Chuck.
The #1 overall pick from the 2011 NBA Draft John Wall was selected late in the NBA Rookie/Sophomore draft. The players drafted ahead of Wall were Jeremy Lin, Paul George, MarShon Brooks, Markieff Morris, and Kemba Walker. Below is the team with their corresponding players
