UFC 148: Silva vs Sonnen - This is undoubtedly the biggest fight in UFC history as it will set the future of not just the middleweight division, but of the whole organization as well. The main event matchup between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen was originally settled to take place at UFC 147 at Havelange Stadium in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. However, due to a scheduling conflict with some other things, the bout was moved to heat up on UFC 148 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 7, 2012.

Anderson Silva will try to add number to his 10-straight record, most consecutive title defenses so far. With his rematch against Chael Sonnen, Anderson looks angry and this could be a wild thing to happen. Counting two years back, the champion beaten Sonnen in their first encounter. Sonnen almost defeated Silva in UFC 117 but not until Silva made him surrender with a triangle armbar.
Sonnen can make it by score, if not, by power but still stay away from the locks. He has to keep the fight close and never give Silva a chance to take advantage of the momentum. He needs to keep go straight forward and use the octagon space as much as he can and then take Silva down, keep the scores and win.
