LA Lakers vs Miami Heat NBA Finals 2020 Game Schedule

LA Lakers vs Miami Heat NBA Finals - Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat are set to face today in the first game of NBA Finals.  The best-of-seven series kicks off Wednesday, September 30 at 9pm EST.

With Lebron James' joining the Lakers this season, the franchise is eyeing their first title since 2010, when Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol led the team against Boston Celtics in seven games. Since then, the franchise missed the chances of getting into finals.

Lakers had a good run in the playoffs up to conference finals. They beat  Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum's tandem of Portland Trail Blazers. Same with a 4-1 series, they beat Houston Rockets and clinched for the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets, who had a series of comeback and overcoming multiple 3-1 deficits. It was a good series for Nuggets until Lakers ended their "3-1" to "4-3" games where Lakers made another easy 4-1 series. The scoring tandem of Anthony Davis and LeBron James lead the Lakers to the finals.

Meanwhile, Miami is back in the Finals after its last appearnce in 2014 where LeBron James also played that time for the Heat.  Miami is also strong at Eeastern Conference where they beat Indiana Pacers at 4-0, Milwaukee Bukcs at 4-1 and at the ECF against Boston Celtics with 4-2 game.

The good thing for Heat is that their players had a rotation of scoring and stepping up when one is locked in defence. Goran Dragic, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo each led the team in scoring in successive playoff rounds. Miami Heat rookie guard Tyler Herro made his career-high 37 points in a 112-109 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. And we also have the defense specialist and finals vetaran Andre Iguodala here at Miami.

ABC will air the 2020 NBA Finals live game. On the other hand for Canada viewers, the national broadcast will be aired on Sportsnet and TSN groups of channels.
